@npub1fe4…ucu6 I'm afraid the spare Cadian I've got from the box you sent me (And several spare bits) are being sacrificed to the Plague god as zombies/cultits for a Nurgle warband for Firefight (alongside Wargames Atlantic Zombies+agents bits a pal sent me)
Played my first Firefight game vs someone else yesterday. Its really fun and was easier than KT to introduce to my friends who are new to wargames :)

nice! I might give it a go as a lighter weight system to play with Mr Bolt who isnt that fussed on tabletop wargames but likes it a bit
Ive got the planet28 Rulebook too for even smaller scale stuff . And thats a "use whatever miniatures " system

Sorry I meant Fallout New Vegas, the computer game. The spare helmets I've got make them look a bit like these guys (especially the older cadians with no leg armour) so I'm going for this scheme

My favourite two origins of AI/Early AI in scifi are Lumpy, from the @npub1fdr…lvhs 2008 short story "Pester Power" which is a learning algorithm based around pretending to be human in chat rooms.

Editing/writing a conversation between Will and Oak, an AI in Cold Morning and I maintain that in this world of 2218, with some true AI in it, I doubt if it has much, if anything to do with the current bubble for LLMs. Maybe the concepts of LLMS but we're so far from actual AI

UK folks. The latest issue of Miniature Wargames has 5 of Wargames Atlantics entirely not Ratling Snipers . The whole thing is £7. And Atlantic has a box of 20 for £28 if you want an alternative to the new Ratling Kill team

I've got some AOS Orruk Kruelboys I got secondhand a whileback been gluing a few 40k bits to them and so on to use as NPCs in Kill Team.
Do I paint them as Orks? or given they dont look at all like 40k Orks. I was thinking of painting their skin in human tones and having them represent mutants?
