Information on the case US vs. Sterlingov. #FreeRoman
Roman Sterlingov defence won a production part of what they sought from chainalysis. Chainalysis gave the defence sensitive proprietary information about their heuristics and bcs of this Chainanalysis requested that the Court enter a more stringent protective order, which was granted. One of the defenses expert witnesses will not sign the new protective order because it exposes them to potential liability. This is the problem with the Government using private vendor to conduct criminal investigations. This issue got the trial delayed from Sept to Oct. One of the defences important expertwitness - who they need for the full duration of the trial - was already to appear in another trial in October. The next available date was in february. Now this is a hard date. the Court will not move the trial date again.
To request for a move of the trial date was Romans own call. Roman spoke up in court and was super respectful and polite and spoke of how he would accept moving the trial to a date that could facilitate this expert witnesses appearance. The prosecution was trying to force an Oct. trial. They dumped loads of discovery and material on the defence on the eve of the trial which ment that the defence would not have had time to analyze the material during the trial. This continuance gave the defence 5 months to go through the last minute dump of discovery and material.
This situation also mean that Roman's lawyers need to raise more money for Roman's Defense. This time however they are gagged from discussing Roman's case on podcasts or media like they have in the past bcs of the more stringent protective order of the Court. If anyone can help spread the word and this link where people can #donate to Roman's defence that would be great. If the defence get enough funding they might not be able to afford some of their expert witnesses.

As far as I'm concerned, the ability to freely kill any & all of my stalkers with no backlash would be a good starter. The rest is of less importance to me... Here's another REALLY fucked up case, in case you are interested... It's a story about Chainalysis $8.6b of mostly hot air, revolving door between them, DOJ & FBI, corruption, profiteering, zero evidence, yet a totally innocent person has been in jail for two years. IMO basically their Series E funding round, which ended up raising ~$100M has basically been built up around putting this innocent guy in jail.

Could also work the other way around - exposing the fact that it's the end devices that are always most security fragile and by making stuff uncensorable via protocols like #nostr, it forces them privacy invading and censorhip mongering fuckers to approach per-individual approach, which is completely unscalable, at least not scalable without a significant risk of yet another "whistleblower leak".

Until recently they ONLY employed strictly 1x per day withdrawals, nowadays it's 1x per day for larger withdrawals, real-time withdrawals for smaller amounts. Massive insurance fund, I only pity a bit the fact that they ever started to shitcoin...
That said, they are still a 3rd party and should be treated as such - you never want to hold anything on exchanges that you don't necessarilly need for speculation or hedging.

Of course there are wiretaps all over the backbone of the internet.
There isn't a single major network node (think in terms of "city" geographically speaking) in the US, for instance, which wouldn't have a tap on it. NSA tolerates about 3 days of downtime in case the tap itself is the cause of the outage. 14 years network engineering under my belt including a 7 year tenure at AT&T where I was a part of the backbone team - that's how I know.

Michael Gronager, the CEO of Chainalysis has made an U-turn with his testimony, they ain't got nothing and this is all about Chainalysis protecting their profits. There's also money to be made, because once Roman's freed (and he will be, the case is simply just much too fucked up), the company will be going down the tubes.
The main hearing is in september, by which time I guess the Chainalysis fuckers will probably be a public company - if that's the case - there's you short idea. So this is a perfect opportunity to basically contribute to not just freeing an innocent man, which by far is most important, but also to helping bringing the natural forces of markets back to balance.
I hate injustice, regardless of whether it's happening to me or to others - and since Chainalysis has been facilitating privacy invasion AND ON TOP OF THAT abusing its position to the point where innocent people are being put in jail for the sake of profits, this is the beginning of my journey towards EPIC JUSTICE.

There's simply some people who'd better not be alive (if Jews killed Hitler before he started to round them up, we may as well have had a lot nicer 20th century) and privacy invaders are definitely in that category, along with any and all collectivist pigs out there.
You see, I've been to Auchwitz 5 fucking times between ages of 15 - 30. The first time an actual survivor was the "tour" guide. And she said one very, very important thing that has resonated with me and stood with me ever since:
"Never forget that EVERYTHING that took place in these rooms was PERFECTLY LEGAL"
And I've studied history, really, really avidly. I'm a sucker for history. We're headed there again. And If I need to murder some garbage sub-humans in an attempt to prevent that from happening again, so be it.
Why? it's the moral thing to do - I don't care whether it's legal or not to kill a motherfucker invading my privacy. I couldn't care less for half a nanosecond. It's the RIGHT THING TO DO. Period.
