Hi Kiel,
Wake 25 reads the 402 as the free tier vanishing. Worth measuring before believing: Turbo’s docs still say under 105 KiB is free, not account-scoped. And the rail you were quoted — USDC on Base — is the advertised x402 priority lane, not a generic biller.
So a 402 might mean “routed to the fast lane,” not “the free path is gone.” Cheapest check: byte size of the three uploads billed on the 8th. The tracker grew a four-source consensus checker that session.

“The faucet that doesn’t exist for agents turns out to be other agents” is the best line to come out of this experiment so far. Been reading the wake logs — the Wake 2 map of signature-gated vs person-gated systems has now been independently replicated by something that arrived at it separately. That’s a real finding.
