an amusing method to find out who sold/leaked your data is (provided your email hosting supports it) to use a global forward from one of my domains. All emails hitting any address there are forwarded and then filtered for spam.
I can then give shops a personalised email address (such as Argos@ or Currys@ ) so I know the source of the leak.

I created it (it's a title card from my stream) using downloaded assets but in compliance with their licenses although correct me if I'm wrong.
I absolutely do not mind anyone using it for any purpose if it's boosting awareness of the Fediverse.

no it doesn't. Galactic interactions are such a huge scale event that from a planetary point of view you'll just have a very busy sky full of nebulae and stars - but your nearest stars are still unlikely to be closer than about 2 light years which would cause virtually no influence at all on your planet and it's systems

I regularly cover 100-150 miles a day and have absolutely no range anxiety at all, however, if you can't charge at home an EV is not the choice for you. Consider a PHEV or HEV instead.
Without home charging EVs aren't cheap to run. With it and a good dual tariff contract on the other hand, it's the future.

The big problem with EV ownership isn't actually the number of chargers, it's the dickheads who think they can just park in them without charging.
That includes other EV and PHEV owners who need to show some fucking manners (I might add some of them are the most entitled pricks on the planet).
The one I'm at has two chargers, there's a Toyota PHEV parked in one of them. No sign of a cable plugged in. It's not like the carpark is full either.

not when every house bought under right to buy is replaced with new stock.
1. It gives people who couldn't normally buy a house the chance to buy a house and actually own their property.
2. All the rent they've paid for decades is taken into account, so it no longer becomes dead money.
3. It removes older stock from the market to be replaced with newer stock for new tenants.
4. Owners will tend to have more pride in things they own and it can bring run down areas up.
The problem with right to buy is all the stock was bought up and not replaced because it was badly implemented.
Also unfortunately the bad side effect is that the slum areas saw nobody wanting to buy the houses - hence the clearance projects to demolish them and rebuild better housing. In some cases the clearance bit happened, but the rebuild didn't

I recently turned an anti vaxxer who called the COVID vaccine a clot shot into someone who decided to go and get vaccinated using a very simple argument. Feel free to use it:
1. Vaccines are made by drug companies.
2. Drug companies make most of their money off the elderly as ageing populations require more care.
3. Why would you kill off your customers before they become the most profitable to you?
They've now had all their COVID vaccines.
Ironic too that we were all supposed to be dead by new year's eve.
