Now we know why Google introduced the Android integrity API. I guess it was the first step to stop sideloading. Even if a custom ROM would allow sideloads, it might fail an integrity check done by the App themselves, making hundereds of Apps unusuable on Custom ROMs.
Not gonna say it can not be bypassed, but it will do make stuff more complicated. It is a nightmare and I am happy I did not start programming any apps for Android in my freetime, I will never register as a developer, I want to write and run Apps without asking Google for permission.

Yesterday we discussed AI usage in our Team. We agree it can be used for small tasks which can be described in a concise prompt and do some repetitive work for small but time consuming things.
Other than that code completion is either annoyingly not helpful, where most disable the feature or ignore it. Complex tasks fail for stupid reasons like using wrong frameworks or framework versions. Experiments showed that it was not possible to create a little bit more complex app meeting our requirements. It did not even compile.

Tatsächlich bin ich auch am Kampfsystem gescheitert. Mein Charakter war sehr wortgewandt und geschickt,... in der Interpretation von Eigentumsverhältnissen. Aber das mächtigste Schwert wurde in seiner Hand zu einem Zahnstocher. 😂

Zum Vergleich kenne ich nur Oblivion, was von der Stimmung insgesamt nicht nur besser war, sondern auch die für mich besser gestalteten Quests. Habe ich aber auch nicht durch. Skyrim war irgendwie dasselbe nur einmal durch den Mixer und mit Drachen statt Portalen. Vielleicht war es für mich nach Oblivion auch ausgelutscht.
Zumal es ohne Addons nicht wirklich gut spielbar war. Inventar, Map, ja nichtmal Dialoge konnte man ohne Probleme bedienen 😕

Ich mag keine Open World, oder sagen wir es gibt nur wenige die mich überzeugt haben. Zu viele Arten in sinnlosen Grind und langweiligem Map hin und her pendeln aus.
Unpopular Opinion: Skyrim war meh für mich. Das Hauptquest war mehr schlecht als Recht die Nebenquests zu verstreut. Bei Cyberpunk war es umgekehrt, die Stadt zu durchqueren hat Spaß gemacht, man hat sich auf die gut gestalteten und abwechslungsreichen Hauptquests gefreut. Die Nebenquests waren optional und man konnte an jeder Ecke was erledigen wenn man wollte oder auch nicht.

Ich möchte die Sache unterstützen, aber nicht eine (vermutlich) nicht auf Petitionen ausgerichtete App dafür nutzen. Ob eine Unterschrift mit Pseudonym was bringt ist fraglich

Eurogamer ist generell kritischer, was ich gut finde. Bei Gamestar schneidet fast alles gut ab was nicht offensichtlich schlecht ist.
Mein subjektiver Eindruck jedenfalls.

Hm, good point, the part with the library CDs is new to me though.
For DRM material it is absurd: lets say I want to delete my Amazon Account or it is deleted by Amazon for whatever reason: I will loose access to my 300 books I bought perfectly legal.
It would be stupid to continue this road so I switched to epub. But I can not legally convert the Kindle books to epub since it is protected material, even though the content can be considered same as a regular book. BS law.

Achja die kaputten Kondolen hatte ich unterschlagen: zwei PSP = zwei kaputte Akkus. Drei Xbox 1x Laufwerk, 1x springt nicht mehr an, XB1 Laufwerk kaputt, eine PS3 Netzteil kaputt. Switch mit Controller Drift.
Also neuere Konsolen sind gefühlt von schlechter/er Qualität. SNES, GameBoy und GC funktionieren komischerweise heute noch.

Meine Story: GameBoy, SNES, PC, GameCube, XB360, XB1, Switch.
Bis zur XB360 hab ich gerne an Konsolen gezockt, da es einfacher war und die Hardware erschwinglicher. Heute bevorzuge ich einen PC da flexibler und die XB irgendwie keine "Feeling" mehr aufkommen lässt.
Als Steamkunde liebäugle ich mit einem Steamdeck fürs Couchgaming, dann muss ich mich nicht immer ins Kämmerchen abseilen.
