Because 2 = ABC, 3 = DEF, etc. on rotary phones, and putting 123 on the bottom would reverse the alphabetical sorting on touch tone phones.

tl;dr: Most modern cars contain well-known software vulnerabilities that are accessible through the OBD2 connector. Unscrupulous Chinese manufacturers have cataloged and automated these exploits using tablets and OBD2 adapters, and you can buy these tools freely and legally online. You may need a blank key fob from the right manufacturer, but the app literally automates the job.
Car makers have been shipping vulnerable software for decades without consequence (car owners and dealerships end up paying for theft, not manufacturers), and they continue to do so. Only Ford appears to be improving their security.

I assume you mean the completion method?
That didn’t work. There is still a brief animation.
I think the extension needs to communicate to the host app to use a different form of modal presentation (I used to work on this code back in UIKit), but for some reason it’s getting overridden to always you the page sheet behavior. An OverFullScreen behavior with a clear view would work.

I did that, but that still causes the dimming view to appear in the presenting app (eg Photos). Obsidian’s extension somehow managed to avoid that.

Question for #ios devs re. the Sharing extension: lots of apps are using the Share extension to save attachments to a local dir, then directly open their main app to ingest them, probably because it’s easier than developing a full-featured share extension.
My question is: what’s a good way to prevent a modal presentation from being shown at all? #Obsidian seems to be able to somehow manage this. How do they do it?

I’m astounded that #Tesla shareholders voted to reinstate Musk’s $56B pay package.
I’m no CFO, but I think this pay package has to be made through the issuance of new TSLA stock—but without capital being infused in exchange. That means that values of existing shares of TSLA must be diluted. Since $56B is roughly 10% of Tesla’s current market cap of $580B, that means each share of TSLA must devalue by about 10% to balance the books. Right?
In other words, shareholders voted to devalue *their own shares* to transfer wealth to Musk.
Am I right? Someone with a finance major please check me.

A moderator of a FB group I frequent has fallen headlong into the “politeness” trap, insisting that participants observe “civility” and “manners” when they post.
Many of you probably already recognize that #politeness is a trap. It is a tool used by aristocrats and the powerful to silence dissent, by protesting *how* the oppressed choose to cry, instead of dealing with *why* they cry. Southern slaveowners were probably the most polite bunch of folks you’ll ever know.
Focus on what’s important: kindess, empathy, respect, tolerance. And tell politeness to go fuck itself.
