When we move back in, we're thinking of setting up a wargaming/gaming table on the cheap.
Ideally, we want a 6 ′ × 4 ′ playing surface (6 ′ × 3 ′ if that's too big).
So I figured a 180 cm long folding table with a hard plastic top and steel legs, fairly light weight.
Then we extend that area with 2 MDF sheets, each 4 ′ × 3 ′ (or 3 ′ × 3 ′). To stop them bowing, I thought 4 wood strengthening beams screwed below, with duct tape edges to stop scuffs.
Should be light and cheap. Any thoughts?

Another thought, Epona was ground-breaking but the novelty of riding a horse around a big empty green space has worn off. It would be nice to give Hyrule Field some actual content. Like Link to the Past and Link's Awakening had way more interesting overworlds.

I'd be okay with that, honestly. OoT is a classic and still one of the best Zelda games to play, buuuuut... like Mario 64, the pioneer controls are good but a little clunky, and the N64's 3D graphics haven't aged well.
All the other anying querks got fixed in the re-releases on Gamecube and DS.

I picked up this 1984 kiddies BASIC programming book.
I wasn't alive then, but just for giggles I'm typing out all the programs from it, getting them to run on FreeBASIC, then compiling them.

Hi #FOSS fans, some #Android advice please:
Given how I can't find any information as to the future of #LineageOS after Alphabet closes up Android, I'm wondering if it's a good idea to switch to #eOS.
I need to re-flash my phone anyway in order to update LineageOS, so it's a good time.
I am concerned about app compatibility on /e/OS, like can I use banking apps and such?

Awwww excellent!
I was studying cats just yesterday and was surprised to learn that all domestic cats (Felis catus) are descended from the North African Wildcat (F. lybica lybica) and not F. silvestris. I honestly thought they were a hybrid between the two, as F. silvestris looks like a tabby.
(Although I argue F. catus should be F. lybica catus).

I'd recommend blocking it. It seems to have stopped most of the trolling I've been getting.

You may recall my recent post that my eyesight has deteriorated to the point where the stars have gone out for me.
I think I might try a telescope. I know nothing about telescopes tho so any advice would be appreciated. x
