Maybe, but in my rather uninformed view, it's too inflationary and will fail sooner rather than later. Governments are too incompetent to manage the implementation of something like that to any degree of success. We would end up with great gobs of money being spa fed on people who need it the least.

Love it or hate it you have to include YouTube. Particularly when they went to a shared revenue model. They created a whole new category of streaming "content" which has made some people wildly successful. It has also decimated Mainstream TV media, and that can only be a good thing.

Today the whole family pitched in and made home made custard and Jam doughnuts. After a slight hiccup at the start - namely accidentally smashing the bowl the dough was proving in, the end result was just delicious. Fresh doughnuts really are the best.

A little less than 40 years ago Doug was my guitar teacher in Wellington, we became close friends. He was/is a wonderfully talented guitarist.
Doug plays everything by ear, has never read music. Now he is a semi retired Luthier in Melbourne and focuses on playing classical guitar, excellently.
There's so much I admire about this guy, he's the reason I have an abiding love of the guitar, and although Doug never made it to the "big time" he's lived a life centred around his music, and it doesn't get much better than that.

We have the same problem with peaches and Nectarines. You need to apply a copper based fungicide, but it needs to be applied at a very specific time of the year
"The fungus overwinters on the tree's bark and buds, infecting new growth as buds swell in cool, wet spring conditions. Once symptoms appear in spring, sprays are largely ineffective that season—the damage is already done."
We have managed to control it by removing all the curled leaves and burning them - don't compost or mulch them. And you need to get brutal with it. If you have to remove all the leaves then that's what you do. Keep doing this when you spot any signs of curling. Then apply the copper fungicide in Autumn/Winter.
Regular and consistent watering is also important as it helps to keep the tree alive while you are effectively starving it of photosynthesised sugars.

So I hopped on a Jamulus session yesterday, it shows each available server, how many musicians are on the session and ranks them all by latency, fastest to slowest. You can specify your own ability level and match it with others of the same.
The session I listened to was hosted in Germany with about 8 musicians and it came through Crystal clear. It was the only active session and they were a full band practising "Black Velvet".
Seemed pretty good.

My wife and I watch at least 2 episodes of 'Allo' Allo every night, for all its faults it is still hilarious.
Apparently almost all of the cast have died of cancer by now, but I found 3 survivors (Helga, Lt. Grüber and Herr Flick) who do a podcast on their recollections about each episode.

I own 2 Epiphones, they both have an annoying fret buzz, I need to have the action up way too high to get rid of it completely. I also have an Ibanez which is a comparable price to the Epiphones, no fret buzz at all. My next guitar will be a PRS.

Watched this last night, what a nightmare Lebanon is now.
If you had USD in a bank account before 2019, the banks won't let you withdraw any of it, that's because it's not really there, it's all been siphoned off into the pockets of politicians and gangsters (but I repeat myself).
The country is going to shit, it's whole economy was basically a Ponzi scheme run by corrupt politicians and bankers, when it all collapsed they took the money and ran to the hills. Now people are starving.
This could happen anywhere.

Today the fam and I visited Weta Workshop, a great experience. The effort that goes into making these movie props and models is quite simply flabbergasting. I had no idea they were involved in so many movies, also surprising to learn they get a lot of their business doing museum installations.

Mine caused permanent nerve damage, 3 weeks in bed and still couldn't walk more than 10 metres. Developed into a chronic pain condition, had my epididymus removed - no improvement, more pain. Eventually had my testicle removed, again no improvement in pain, just switched over to the other testicle. Pain got so bad it eventually forced me out of work, also got hooked on opiates - managed to kick them 3 years ago with the help of cannabis oil. Still have limited mobility, can't sit for more than an hour, still can't work.
So yeah, ruined my life, but please don't let that put you off...
