I ate salt and it cut the nausea I was feeling in the beginning. I didn't know that was a thing before.
In the first trimester one time I wanted a bell pepper, and then I got one and cut it in half, thinking I'd leave half for the next day, and then 45 seconds after having finished the first half, I bit into the 2nd half and devoured that too. 🤣 2nd trimester I wanted savory foods, and the normally delicious looking ice cream ad gave me a negative reaction, and that's how I was like 95% sure I was having a boy! I loved it too.

It's weird to me whenever I hear someone talking about how they got gold in case things go really bad.
I mean, most of them don't actually hold the gold themselves, they're trusting some random other person, maybe not even in their own State, to be holding the gold for them, and they simply get an IOU, so who knows if the person actually has the gold, and if they do have gold, have they sold the same piece to multiple people?
And even if everything is great, if an emergancy comes along and they want to use the gold cause the Dollar's crashed, how does that even work? Do they go and collect the physical gold, or do they basically just use a bank as a 2nd layer on top of the gold holding?
This is why I like bitcion, cause I can self custody it, it's not going to be double spent, and it's super easy to use and fraction.

Growing up, when Mother's Day in Sweden fell on the 30th, we'd have cake 3 weekends in a row. Mother's day, my mom's birthday and my birthday! then a bit off and then it was midsommer so sometimes we had another cake then. I've been digitizing my moms diaries, started with my birthday and just finished my brother's.
I want cake, and all the foods I grew up on, and I'm also starting to think about what to do de our kids birthdays,starting with our son whose turning 8 months tomorrow, so there's only 4 months until he's 1 🤯😱🤯

Growing up we got a few birds inside... though my cat brought them, so they were in kinda rough shape 😅
We put a bell on that cat and she still brought home birds 🙄

I think my husband tried sending them something before but I'm not sure he ever even heard back from the. They might be a bit too bitcoin focused for their books, or that's what they seemed like to me at the time. I have two Novels, "The Blizzard", and "The Prophetic Detective - Kidnapped" (book 1of 9) and neither mention Bitcoin though I might add it to the series eventually cause, why not?! And then I have one nonfiction book that I invited my husband to add to called "How to Prepare Yourself for Marriage", in this book I diplomatically cover Bitcoin as if it's an obvious option that's already established as one of the ways to save, and advocate for it as the best option and why it's better than the other ways. However, that book isn't mostly about Bitcoin either, so I'm not sure any of mine would qualify.
My husband has written "Benefits of Bitcoin", so that one is clearly about bitcoin, however, his other 4 books are on totally different topics: "Abundance - Your Path Out of Poverty", "How to Become Extremely Intelligent", "The Nature of Reality", "How to Become Relationally Intelligent".
We tried selling our ebooks for bitcoin directly on our website http://FikaTimeBooks.com but the plugin we used stopped working for some unknown reason, so now we're back to the very unreliable Nostr DM's for ebook sales for sats, or Amazon for fiat for all of their options.
Having had this experience got my husband even more motivated to get out of other people's systems and figuring out how to have our own where no one can take it away from us on their whim.

Why do people keep trying to make the argument that it's a burden to carry and birth a child? It's a privilage and amazing experience that no man can ever experience.
Currently hearing a debate where someone is arguing that being drafted and having babies are supposedly equal, but it's not. Women can join the military, but men can never birth a child. Women can choose to have kids or not, but men don't have a choice if the govenment decides to draft them.
I believe that one of the ways to increase the birthrates is to stop spreading the lie that it's bad to be pregnant and birth babies and being moms.
I looked into pregnancy planners when we first started trying for babies, and saw that they all covered how women experience morning sickness at least during the first trimester, while some have it the entire pregnancy, HOWEVER, when looking into it at least 30%, if not 50%, never experience morning sickness. And it's similar with all the other symptomes. This is why I made my own pregnancy planner after Heaven's standard where Jesus blood paid for everything, so there is no longer any reason to experience any of it. Sure, sometimes we need to fight it off, but negative pregnancy symptoms shouldn't be the most talked about, and certaintly not talked about as inevitable facts of pregnancy, as that's simply not true.
How about we focus more on the positives of pregnancy?
At least 9 months or naturally paused periods, up to at least 6 months more if breastfeeding.
Getting to feel the creation of another human being move around inside us. Flutters, flips, and eventually kicks and punches. Sure they might hurt but they are also spetacular! They're a sign of life, plus, we always get to have a companion.
Getting to see how our bodies were created to create more life, how they change and how the belly grows, how the bladder gets pressure, then released and then get pressed again through the trimesters.
Getting amazing hair that barely sheds at all (though all that hair that stuck around ends up falling out once the baby is out which can be disconcerning but it just goes back to the normal amount of hairs)
Not to mention the absolutely mindblowing and heart flooding experience of getting to see your very own little baby develop and learn and smile at you and giggle at you and crawl over to you and want to be close to you, and all the things we get to experience with the baby once it's been born!
Babies are amazing. Pregnancy is great and wonderful, and having our own babies are totally different than babysitting someone else's babies. Fur babies are nowhere near the real deal. Humans are amazing, and creating and caring for them are totally worth getting celebrated, and not mocked or cursed or spoken about as a burden. It is a privelage.

So, KDP on Amazon has just decided to KYC. This means that to sell books through them we need to verify identity, give them government ID and apparently take a selfie. 🤯🤬😒 And if we don't do it, they'll terminate the account in 2 weeks?!?!?! What if we hadn't logged in? Did they generate the date based on login, or are there a bunch of authors who are about to loose their entire livelyhood because they happen to not login and KYC themselves in time?
It's very tempting to get our own book printing going, except there isn't a machine that can do the whole process from printing to covers, they're all separete parts. Might need to invent our own! 🤔

Recently I've been seeing a comment on my posts when I first open Amethyst, but when I click on it there's nothing there and then when it loads it goes away. Is it someone I've blocked? Or is it just a weird glitch? And if it's someone I've blocked, who is it? Are they kind and misblocked, a bot, or bad actor?

Our son wakes up around 8-9 usually, is super happy and ready for the day... I usually stay up until 1am or later, and I want to keep sleeping. I've also been woken up multiple times throughout the night so it's not a high quality 8h sleep if he happens to wait until 9am to wake up.
Due to our living situation, I can't really leave him unattended so I usually only get a little bit more rest after that, but not really any more sleep, unless my hubby wakes up and takes over baby watch, or he sleeps so long our son goes for his first nap and then I quickly take one too! 😅🤣

My brother used to kill mosquitoes and leave them to deter others! Then my husband did when we killed one in the ceiling of our van, it's still there and we haven't really been attacked by mosquitoes since... we also haven't really been around water since but that's totally different! We're currently watching a Korean show, but it might be a Netflix show so they added it to be "politically correct" or whatever.
The tranny is just someone who works for the main character and seemed like an ambiguous person, maybe a tomboy, but then in one scene they found the person dressed as a lady and found out it's a tranny, but it's not at all part of the main plot which is great! I'd prefer if that part wasn't in it either, but I do find it interesting that it's clearly a female to me, who is pretending to be a guy who then came out as a tranny.

How many days in a row can you eat the same dinner and still enjoy it?
We've had the same thing fir 5 days, then one day we got free food from elsewhere so our streak was broken. Then we started again and are now back at 5 days. So, the last 11 days we've had the exact same dinner for 10 of the days! And yes, I'm still enjoying it. Never thought that would be the case for me, I usually want different flavors quite often.
Bean, cheese, rice burrito from Filibertos Mexican food, with chips and their guacamole salsa or whatever it is. It's spicy but I still like it.

Whenever I hear people talking about women giving up or putting their dreams on hold to care for children, I get a strong gutteral disagreeing reaction!
Being a mom is amazing! It's LITERALLY a dream come TRUE! I am currently living the dream. Yes, I have other things I'd like to do as well, but I actually can do some overlap of dreams. I'm still able to work on books, even if it's a whole lot slower. I'm still able to accomplish daily dreams like going to the movies and traveling. Bringing our son makes the adventures even more fun!

I didn't know about Buicks, I've seen WAY too many of all kinds doing it.
We're currently in a tiny mountain town with a ton of turism and multiple roundabouts, and only one through street. The line backsup maybe a mile before the first roundabount sometimes! 😣 And then they stop even when the roundabout is EMPTY!

I took chapter 1 "What even is marriage" from our book, "How to prepare yourself for marriage" and put it in its own manuscrips so I can make that into its own little book, cause I believe there are people who are already married who could benefit from reading it, so they understand what Marraige really is.
I just need to go through it and adjust any comments I've made about "going further into it later in the book" and addressing singles 😅

Wow! These are the kinds of things that has me really happy we're gonna home school our kids! If we were responsible and gave this to our son, I'd expect him to answer things he'd probably get sent to the principle's office if he wrote in a public school, while we'd praise him!
Like, "my phone rings and I check it knowing it's against the rules. Then the teacher asks for it, what so I do?"
"I know I broke the rules by checking it, but this is my property and I will not give it to you. I'll turn it off but keep it with me."

Well, we have a window AC that we got for summer last year, but we weren't expecting to need it in March! The motorhome also has a built in one but it takes like all the power.
We've now gone to an about equally hot place with our converted van that also doesn't have AC, so hopefully we can earn enough money to get a ne car before summer really hits 😅
I'll be hanging out at some coffee shop with our son during the day most likely!

Our son is too smart for pikaboo.
He was sleeping next to me and I had a shirt sleeve over my eyes cause it was too bright... well, I was sleeping, and he woke up, started fussing around, and I ignored it best I could, until I felt my eye cover getting pulled off of my face!
So, yeah, he knew that my face was hidden under the shirt sleeve, scooted, pushed and reached his way to get a hold of it, and pull it off of my face so I would wake up and look at him.
When I did, he had a huge smile on his face like, "oh, there you are, play with me?!"
Then his dad grabbed him so that worked out for me. 🤣😎 Thanks @nprofile…3fyn

Monthly bills suck! It's like we just paid one took a breath and the next one arrives.

So, I'd heard that that women's hair might change after they have babies, bit I've never heard that eyelashes can change.
When I saw my eyelashes after getting home with our son, I realized that my naturally long lashes had lost all of their bend. They literally stuck straight forward, most had no bend at all!
Now over 6 months later, it seems they're still pretty straight.
So weird!

Found a mouse in the water tank compartment of our motorhome today.
Last time I found something in there it was a snake, almost 6 months ago now, I wonder if there had been a mouse there first that time too and that's what attracted the snake 🤔😬

I saw a sign yesterday that said something like, "keep door closed or use quickly", and my first question was, "but, why?"
If you tell me why, it's way more likely that I'll comply, cause some times signs are temporary, sometimes they are really important, but if I can't judge which, cause I don't know the reason, I'll end up winging it and if I getit wrong during the important ones, it can cause a lot of trouble.
So, giving the reason why if actually more important than simply putting up a sign that says what to do or not to do.

Instead of teaching our son to "don't do that, be careful", we aim at teaching him competence.
Like right now, he just scooted himself to the end of the bed, but instead of rescuing him, or stopping him, I simply grabbed his leg, and when he tipped over, I grabbed the other one too, so he didn't fall on the floor.
His daddy's shoes were at the end of the bed, and as he dangled he reached for them and got both of them 🤣

The Faroe Islands is a self governed part of the Danish kingdom and has less than 50k people and most of them are related.
I've met some people from there.
Some of them could actually know the names of everyone from their country.

I've heard people talk about getting married like:
"I'm open to it but I'm not pursuing it".
Well, it takes a lot more intentionality than that to find a good spouse.
You don't expect someone to become a doctor without first going through training and at the very least applying for school, but somehow we think marriage "will just happen".
I decided to write "How to Prepare Yourself for Marriage" in part because I met several people who wanted to be married, but didn't know what to do to get there, or who had weird ideas about what it might be, so they weren't sure they wanted it.
Marriage is amazing and sacred and a life long covenant committment. Don't fall for the lies of just letting it happen, and decide to be intentional about it! You are worth it, and your marriage is worth it.

Hm, I'm not quite sure what ultrarian means. I know my mom read something about some people having a 25h cycle and that made sense to her, cause in her 5 year diary she's noted when she goes to bed, and for a while there each year was one hour later.
I have very little concept of time myself.
I like making schedules but have concluded that it's much better for me to do things in a certain order rather than at a certain time or for a certain time.
I do tend to find myself tired around 10-11pm but then I wake back up by midnight. My dad joked once that I wasn't actually an evening person, I'm an extreme morning person 🤣

No, she definitely does sleep at some point every 24h, just not very early like most retirement age people.
If she need to get up at 8am for something, she usually whimpers cause it's so early and even when she's tried to adjust her days, the night before usually ends up later than the previous ones, even though she'd been doing much better the nights before that. 🤣
She's had "medical retirement" since 2007, so she definitely doesn't stay up working.
She's still winning though, cause I'm pretty sure you're a man 😇🤣

When I moved to the States, I left all of my jigsaw puzzle behind.
My mom has now taken up puzzling, and is trying the different ones they got me over the years.
She just wrote that it's 6:30am, and she "happened to" pass the puzzle on her way from her computer, so now she's gonna try to find her bed 😅
I bet my mom stays up later than your mom 😎🤣
