as much as I'm fine making school lunches, and my kids love mine, I'd be happy to have it made for the kids.
That said, you're on the money, but, from my experience it's more a choice of "I want to talk rather than eat". It's taken years for me to get my 10 and 7 year old to eat their lunches, but even then, they don't some days.
This week is a great example; Tuesday/Wednesday I did pad kra pao for the kids, both containers came back empty, did a salad wrap yesterday, only one came back empty

just gobsmacking. There's certain things that require public transport. Zoos and museums and publicly funded attractions should be at the top of that list

yeh, the move to GPON isn't hard from PTP. Probably a good way to start with a coop.
The NBN, however, is a national network where every premises is eligible for a connection.

GPON is generally asymmetrical by design, very rarely do you get 2.4/2.4Gbps out of the ONT, and in Aus it's definitely 2.4/1.2Gbps.
Most consumers don't care about up, just down, so it makes sense from an operator point of view.
And, yeh, to a degree I get that, and it's why I have 1000/50 instead of a lower number in front; two kids playing computer games smashes my connection.
I'd still like a lift in the upload

yeh, symmetrical residential plans were dumped years ago, and (I think) it's all EE for symmetrical these days. Not even business

yeh, I'm much the same. 1000 is fine and all, but very few CDNs will serve anything at that speed.
500/200 would be nice, but it's more expensive than 1000/50!!!
Hopefully once the new plans drop we'll get some better pricing

yeh, I currently run a static IP on my home plan. I'm not sure what the business cost for 1000/50 is, but it isn't cheap 😖
