The people who voted Green were the same people Tony Blair told to "get a heart transplant" or the surge of Labour members when Corbyn was leader (he of twice getting more GE votes than Starmer).
The Greens aren't "splitting the Left". They're just… Left.

Also, reporting almost universally refers to #Corbyn's 10.2m votes in 2019 as "one of Labour's worst defeats" and #Starmer's 9.7m as an "historic landslide."
Am I going fucking nuts?
(And Corbyn got 12.8m in 2017.)

My theory is they were told the Regan-era deregulation and nasty every-man-for-himself attitude would drive down prices. Except prices now are ruinous. Not just a bit higher, but off the scale, different league. And *everything* costs at the point of contact. They'd have more money in their pockets if they were communists.
So Trump being a liar and conman? Maybe that's not such a huge deal to people realising the last 40 years have been a lie and a con.

Particularly like his solo albums. The first is very Madhouse-y, which is great, but from Things Left Unsaid onwards he finds an even higher gear, imo. 🪈 🎷
