I really believe Bitcoin (crypto) is the future of finance that brings abundance. However, I'm skeptical about the freedom aspect because if you look back to when Bitcoin (8 years ago) started gaining traction with the mainstream investors, it tends to do well or resilience against stocks sell-off. But today Bitcoin is completely sync with stock market and this behavior is due to the mainstream money flowing into crypto space. Meaning now whatever regulation affects wallstreet affects Bitcoin simultaneously. If you monitor this behavior closely, I'm not sure decentralisation will succeed as are dreaming it to be without totalitarianism.

I think the level of freedom we dream of is unattainable due to the speed of computation. There's certainly going to be more control in the future all over the world
