One of the first thoughts I had when learning of Trump's attack on Iran is of a young solider from Northwest Indiana who joined Bush's army and went to Iraq in the early 2000s.
He was shot by a sniper a few days into the war and was one of the first American troops to die.

I've been noticing more unhoused people with shopping carts full of belongings in the Merrillville area camping along major roads along US 30 and south to 93rd than I have before in the decades I've lived in Northwest Indiana.

I keep seeing headlines that say the US attacks were made to stop a nuclear threat.
If I'm gaming things out in my mind, I say it increases the risk of nuclear proliferation.
If I'm going to be attacked, why not try to get a nuke from North Korea or some other place, like Russia?
I predict Iran buys a nuke from North Korea. North Korea benefits because it gets a strengthened ally.
It also helps Iran's ally Russia to counter the US.
