We've been releasing our music in this decentralized way for the last 2 years with RSS thro our website https://www.doerfelverse.com/ and our music is connected to our Bitcoin node. A long with being able to listen to our music on our website via the big orange "music" button, we are on every podcasting 2.0 app and it is as decentralized as it gets.
Wavlake is not exactly decentralized, they just make and host RSS feeds and wallets on their site for music and then they also share their content to the podcasting 2.0 apps as well via podcastindex.org.
www.musicsideproject.com is a good open source tool that helps you build your own rss feed for music, then you use your own website to host it all, the you can add your stuff to the podcastindex.org manually very easily and there you have it, self hosted decentralized music for people to listen to and if they like it send Bitcoin to or value in any way you ask.
If you've not tried the fountain.fm app that's a good place to start as far as a podcasting2.0 app. www.lnbeats.com shows only the music that's all on the index. There's a bunch of great ones though! Podverse.fm podcastguru.io
There is a brand new music music app that is in beta that is very close to being released that uses the index as the database, the UI works like Spotify, but for all this decentralized music that is out there self hosted like us or via wavlake, we will blast the URL for it as soon as our friend @nprofile…07yd releases it to the public!

Let's get some recordings in an rss feed! Attach a wallet to the songs, and people can zap/boost track and add it to their playlist of ther v4v tracks.
You can do this easily yourself with putting your files your own website and using a feed builder like www.musicsideproject.com then adding the URL for feed to www podcastindex.org
Then your songs will be lightning v4v enabled in a y modern podcast app like my banjo album here: https://fountain.fm/album/k48gXglEK8Y1fPw2qZWk
There's also people(myself and others) that are happy to build you a feed and host your stuff for you. Just send them the files and your fountain.fm wallet and we can get it up for you!

No DV tonight. Work and life just been to much this week and need some family time.
But got the Greensands scheduled at a non normal time for us, I'm gonna have to hussle at work to make it!
June 17 at 2pm central, The Greensands, if all goes smoothly, will be traveling into the DoerfelVerse!

Dono if you've checked out www.LNbeats.com "LN" is for Lightning. But yeah its a universal app, works in any browser and you can find any v4vmusic self hosted or wavlake artist on it. it is made by @nprofile…qgdn it's the only app I know of that focuses on music only. I don't know of any nostr music apps. I guess Fountain is it for me
