@npub1m0v…du9y For real though, I get it. Definitely felt a bit tropey to me, like the “skeptic” character was over the top. Felt unrealistic, even in the movie universe. And the ending was…I don’t even know.

Every time someone from the Mastodon team is asked about a feature that is very popular (quote posts) or critical to user safety (admin moderation tools, reply gating), the response is that it would be very difficult and expensive to do within ActivityPub.
Which leads me to wonder: if the protocol cannot support a healthy community, is the protocol the problem?

@npub1m0v…du9y this “Apple Pencil pro” rumor is making me nervous. It’s already the most expensive stylus (or close). If the new iPads also require a $150+ stylus, gonna have a problem
