The Bitcoin consensus follows the majority of all economically active nodes. Hence it is as susceptible to control by capital and hence affected by the wealth inequality as everything else.
The insane wealth inequality we see today is one of the major risks to Bitcoin and probably has captured it already in the sense that if the community would implement improvements that go against the wishes of blackrock, sailor and some big exchanges, it had no chance of ever making it into the network.

I don't think the government is working for me, but in Switzerland we have a lot of tools to course correct and stop the worse, or change things completely against their wishes.
The problem isn't the government in our case, but I'm pretty certain that age restrictions for adult content, games and even social media is actuallt popular in the wider population. This may not be apparentinf you suround yourself with libertarians or whatever who are completely detached from regular people.
As for what it can do for me? I think it will be an incredible tool for our direct democracy, as it will make digital signing of referendums and popular initiatives possible, which will significantly lower the cost to block unwanted changes by parliament. It also invreases accessability for government services for people with disabilities.
As for the promise that it is complete optional. we have the tools to hold them accountable. Ironically the E-ID even made those tools stronger.

I voted yes. Here is why:
We already rejected a proposal for an E-ID a couple years ago where the whole thing was run by a private company. Opponents and privacy advocacy groups had a long long list of complaints.
So what they did is they got all this groups on board and redesigned the whole thing. It is now run by fedpol, the gov police branch that already issues the normal ID and passport. It is implemented in a way that you only reveal information that is required. You can for example prove that you are over 18 without revealing any other information than just true/false. There is no tracking where or how you use it.
"but it will lead to unfree internet". Yeah that is already comming. Your gouvernments will force an E-ID on you without asking if the implementation is accepable. If they set the standard we will inevitability be forced to adopt the shit they are producing or outsource to google and apple. I don't want the garbage that comes out of your pseudo democracies.
So this is our only chance to get an E-ID that is as privacy respecting as possible.

Financial markets completey abstracted risk of investment and wealth accumulation from the real economy. That capital concentration will somehow correct itself because the rich make the wrong investments in the markets is disproven by reality to a degree that you have to really go out of your way to ignore it.
It will obviously correct itself, but not because of choices people make in the market, but because more and more money is syphoned out of the economy into financial assets, which decreases demand in the real economy, which will eventually lead to a complete collapse of it, followed by civil unrest, a lot of horrible shit, the rich hanging from the street lanterns again, etc.

After a economic reset (like ww2), capitalism always follows a similar pattern as capital concentrates and concessions the working class fought for when they where on a more equal footing after the war, are slowly rolled back to opress them and lower their wages.

Both movements reemerging are a consequence of the increasing wealth inequality that is created by capitalism reachinhg a boiling point. I don't think we are quite there yet.
What we see today in Trump is just a clown trying to fix the economy with completely inappropriate tools and keep the status quo of the power of the capitalist class as best as he can.
Mamdani may call himself a democratic socialist, but his policies are mild forms of social democratic reforms, which are essentially small fixes to capitalism to make it more palatable to the population.

I would say what trump did is best described by "state capitalism".
If this is a good or bad thing mainly depends on if democracy is still working and if the government uses it's power over this cooperations in favor of the people they represent.
In an actual functioning democracy the people as a whole would now hold a stake in Intel and be able to influence the companies decision in contrast to only private interest governing the company, which isn't a bad thing.
But it's still all capitalist, because capital calls the shots.
A true socialist conversion would be turning Intel into a society owned cooperative with one person one vote instead of voteing rights based on capital.

There are a lot of entities who are holding Bitcoin just for the expectation of bigger gains than classical assets. Once Bitcoin stops putting in this jumps it will be completely uninteresting to them and settle at a price without speculation, revealing the true demand.

Consider the extrem scenario where the nodes of the 10 biggest exchanges would be responsible for 80% of the transactions.
It should be immediately obvious how they are much more important in the Bitcoin economy than 10 random pleb nodes.
Eventually, Bitcoin hash rate will only be secured by transaction fees. In case of a split, the 10 nodes in this example will directly control which fork gets 80% of the hash rate, because they pay for it and the miners just follow the money.
Wealth concentration, by inequality or any other means, like centralized exchanges, is a serious danger and centralizing force, not only in Bitcoin, but to everything else as well.
Literally everything works betteer the more wealth and power is distributed.

The problem with our discourse I think is that we don't share the same definition for the word "capitalism".
You seem to use it as a place holder for "free market" where all the decissions arise from individuals, while I use the historical meaning including all the free market interference that come with that construct of human society.
The viability and capability of such a hypothetical free market is fascinating topic I may explore in the future. But it is simply not what I'm talking about. I'm not arguing against the free market.
You yourself seem to acknowledge that such a free market does not exist but you seem to attribute the reason for why it doesn't exist soley to the "state" perhapt whithout asking the question how the state got the idea to implement this IP and patent laws in the first place.

Digital goods like software and media can be copied for basically free. We know what the maximum prosperity of that looks like. It's when everyone can gets a free copy of whatever media or software they desire.
The state doesn't force busineses to go the route of making digital goods artefically scarce.
It is capitalism that incentivises this rent seeking behavior.
Capitalism is not a hypothetical unregulated free market. It is a system where an owner class of people allocate capital in order to extract more capital from the work of others.
That system incentives a certain behaviour and it is not in any way efficient in allocating resources to maximize prosperity. And it is just undeniably obvious in the case of digital goods.

Certainly a common held belief comrade.
If true it would mean that the mere addition of such an option like restricting copies by IP law completely derails the prosperity maximising nature of capitalism and incentivices the complete opposite.
Even more troublesome in that case is the fact that technological solutions like DRM or the move to SaaS subscription models allow coorporations to do the exact same thing even in the Absence of enforcable IP laws.
It certainly looks like capitalism would go that route even in the absence of such laws.
It is much more likely, that it is in fact the Capitalists innate desire to gain as much profit for themself for as little effort as possible, that causes this rent seeking behavor, which cripples the free replication of digital goods and maximization of the prosperity of the many.
