Out of curiosity I checked it the binary would play sound in videos on Fedora and it did. Strangely enough the one I get after I compile on the Fedora system itself won't even though SDL2-devel is/was actually installed.

Thanks. The other person you mention could be me at a different npub. I complained Fedora would't play sounds in videos which is still the case for that matter (even when running the same binary that works ok on Debian). This being version 0.10.0-unstable-c19ded29.
