🚨🚨My 18 yr old called me overjoyed bc she “got a really good job that will work with her class schedule”
I asked her a bunch of questions and this is what I uncovered:
The owner of a roofing company is asking my daughter to climb on roofs with the promise of $10,000 commission checks to her. She is scheduled to climb on a few roofs tomorrow to provide an “inspection” in the hopes of closing a sale. CLEARLY major red flags. 🚩
She has no experience, received just one day of "sales training” (zero safety) today, and was advised she’s “not an employee” (hired as a contractor—a term she doesn't even understand) on a 100% commission basis.
There’s no safety, OSHA compliance, licensing, or proper training (harness, helmet, shoes, or other safety equipment involved or provided for her to climb on these roofs.
She has no idea the insanity of what she’s being asked to do, and he’s putting her life at risk and in violation of the law.
She’s got that wild hair of independence in her and I’m trying to get through to her as to why this is dangerous / illegal / etc.. any comments / insight you have that I can relay to her and or report this asshole are greatly appreciated.

Some will immediately stop in their tracks when they see these words without applying a lens of observation towards the underlying message. They’re no longer listening because the symbol or word you used created a trigger towards what they believe is correct. No one journey is the same. Lean not on ‘YOUR’ own understanding… Seek good in all things… build bridges and connections when faced with polarity. Push through resistance of triggers.
The human reason is incapable of providing sufficient rational grounds to justify anything beyond our level of understanding. Transformation occurs with the renewal of our mind. Our ‘truth’ can only be unveiled when we take steps towards things we may never see, walk towards it anyway.
The ability to observe without judgement is the highest form of intelligence. 🫶☀️🤍

Imagining the worst case scenario for all situations. Instead, tell yourself the story you want to hear.
You will continue to unconsciously attract and see problems until you retrain your mind to stop immediately jumping to negativity
(ex. "this is so unrealistic", "this will never work", "I just know this is going to turn out poorly", etc).
Jumping to negativity is a very common pattern of thinking that we have inherited due to generational trauma.
It is our responsibility as a collective to break this pattern, and we do so by fulfilling all of the goals that we want to achieve in this life. Not only is it amazing to live our version of our dream life - it is our responsibility. 🧡
