i think the problem was that the left had nothing to offer then, especially after the moment of disillusionment with the USSR. That had a big impact on all social and political movements around the world. And what you call neoliberalism organically absorbed all these movements based on its ethic of individualistic freedom under market conditions. Pretty much the same thing can be asked of the left now - what can you suggest that a) pedi and other minority rights movements not be integrated into the current status quo and b) that it somehow start to concern those not directly affected. And I think the saddest thing is that there is no answer to that, because there is no "big project" that integrates all these parts into some kind of organic unity

And what is meant by self-organization? Pedi-Maoist guerrilla units with Kalashnikovs prowling the jungle somewhere in Latin America?Or pedi-spontex, like in the days of red may. I agree that no one will help, but I am afraid that we do not have any strength and capabilities to organize ourselves and act as a political subject

MAP movement is associated by radical feminists precisely with "gender ideology". A blow to them is a blow to us. The only window of opportunity is an academic discussion "from above" and a public movement "from below", and all this now seems much less real in the future. By the way, this is also a wonderful example of how radical feminism is an ally of right-wing traditionalists. A sweet couple.
