a lot of Macs came bundled with ISP packages iirc. I remember Demon because of this, even though we used to be on Pipex back during those days

A little followup: if you took part in the demoscene holiday card exchange you may or may not have seen this already..
Here is a little piece of art I created in addition to the teletext advent calendar art!

To whoever was stealing very expensive audio gear from #39c3, fuck you. Completely against the spirit of the event to steal something from the community like that.

And here is some old photos I took with a selection of public transit cards I have lost, these will probably be a bit more difficult to re-obtain since they actually hold credit, and I believe the helsinki one has been discontinued. I enjoy collecting public transport cards because some day these probably won't exist any more with the rise of phone/bank payment systems, they were also just a good reminder of the travels I have done.
Edit: I still have the Oyster card
These cards include:
-Stockholm
-Helsinki
-Tallinn
-Glasgow
-Netherlands
-Denmark
-Brussels
-Lisbon
-Norway
-Tampere

My birthday is soon... (the 23rd of September). I will be turning 30 years old.
if anyone wants to buy me something nice, I have amazon wishlist links here: https://t.violet.pm/2025/09/17/22_10_33.txt
alternatively, I have about £50 in bills to pay off from the past month and currently have no money in my bank at the moment, so any donations are kindly appreciated as well. I would also like to begin raising money to pay to go to 39C3 in December and Nordic Fuzz Con in February, which generally costs quite a bit. Any money donations are highly appreciated, specially after how frustrating the past few months has been for me.

Thank you everyone who attended the #demoscene talk at #eurofurence today! The fact that we managed to fill an even larger room than we had at NFC with audience members excites me a lot about how much interest there is in the demoscene as a whole!
I unfortunately forgot to show the final statistics from the poll I linked during the talk, but here it is in image form.
There were a lot of talented people sitting in that audience, and I think you should all explore taking part in the demoscene, it's a really fun way to express yourself, or work as a team to show off your skills to a huge audience of like minded people.
Maybe some day, if there's enough interest, we can host a mini demo-party at a furry con!

This was the precise location where my bag went missing. If anyone in the Köln area can help investigate the whereabouts of my bag I would be extremely thankful. The situation has already been reported to the police, just stay on the lookout for a backpack with a raccoon bag pattern on it. My name and email is written inside the bag.

Currently going over the footage of the demoscene panel talk I did at NFC, got quite a bit of editing work to do with it.
Unfortunately we were not provided with a microphone to use so the audio quality is not the best, I will attempt to write subtitles to go with the video so it can at least be more understandable during parts where my voice is not clear.
Need to make a list of things to remember for EF later this year..
I will hopefully have the footage available online for everyone who missed the panel later this week <3

Find me at Nordic Fuzz Con on Thursday the 20th at 20:00 (GMT+1) in the Vet Chamber, Valhalla!
I will be covering all the essential topics surrounding the demoscene, how furries have been getting involved with the scene and how you too can get involved.

I am going to kindly remind folks that it is generally good etiquette to use hashtags and/or content warnings appropriately when discussing topics that may cause heated discussions.
This is helpful for anyone who may not always have the mental capacity to deal with current events.
"Taking a break" from social sites is not always a viable option for everyone and having the ability to read and filter the timeline at your own pace is one of the nice things fedi has to offer.
