Another pretty #sunset picture into the collection. This one I like especially, as I managed to be on the bridge right as the sun started to hide behind the horizon. 😎
I had a nice 15km run, slightly faster than my intended tempo for the upcoming marathon - hopefully the legs will get used to it, and the actual marathon tempo will then be a breeze. :) 🤞

Lack of technology literacy. They often have no idea they can do that. Every corporation has been screaming "Install our app now!" at them for several decades now, and web browser? What even is that? You mean that app which appears when I open the hilarious joke links my cousin sends me on Facebook?
If people knew as little about cars as they do about computers/smartphones, everybody would be driving in first gear only, and would only ever turn right.

Today I treated myself to a #trailrun through unfamiliar terrain. #Autumn forest is beautiful right now.
On the other hand, I took a wrong turn and had to backtrack two or three times, since many paths are covered in dry leaves so much, it's easy to miss your turn, especially when running on unmarked trails. :)
Bus to the town of #Stupava, and from there past Pajštún castle ruins, then zig-zagging through assorted forest trails south back towards #Bratislava.

I watched the #Dune Prophecy pilot episode last night, and in my opinion, they screwed it up totally, just like they screwed up #Foundation in that horrible TV series.
I wish people stopped trying to milk good book franchises by shoehorning them into media formats they are not suited for.

Outlook complains about not being able to start because of a stale .ost file.
So I find the file and delete it.
I start Outlook, it creates a new .ost file and then complains again that it cannot start because of a stale .ost file that it just created.
You cannot make this up.

Oh my, this is what both my body and soul were clamoring for the entire summer - cool temperature, forest rustling in strong but calm rain and smelling heavenly.
I did not meet a single living soul, so I had the forest just to myself. I love runs like that! :)

I had awesome weather on my #trailrun today. Sunny and hot, but since I started early, I was done before the real heat could get to me.

Wow, that's quite a leap you are making there. I interpret it as pure military bravado, the same thing as "we'll take Kyiv in 3 days" two years ago.
I mean, maybe if this was said by someone higher up around Putin, it'd be a possible interpretation, but a unit leader is unlikely to be appraised of strategic planning.

Sure, I do not disagree in general. The devil is, as always, in the details.
Who gets to decide what are the needs, who are the many, who the few, and why shouldn't my cronies benefit somehow, if I'm the one deciding stuff.
That's when the idea breaks down, and we as a civilization haven't yet discovered good enough "checks and balances" to prevent abuse that inevitably happens thanks to humans being humans.
