there are other plugins that when added to the activitypub plugin allows the blog to interact like a genuine Fediverse user: likes, follows, responses. If set up in the theme, all the interactions can show up on the blog.
It's quite wonderful.

then you must be a writer and a filmmaker. I too suffer from similar bouts of sleeplessness, but only with days ending in a 'y'. Exercise helps me. Kitty screaming in my face at 2am does not.

things also to consider:
- are you especially stressed at the moment?
- how's your bed? Comfortable, or do you wake up aching?
- do you have good sleeping habits? Regular hours, no screen time an hour before you go to bed, etc?
Just some thoughts.

[@liztai](https://hachyderm.io/@liztai ) re blog: I feel too many recent novels have been rushed into print. They lack the polish of work 20+ years ago. Even authors I love have fallen victim to this trap of 'good enough'. Perhaps they're seeing the success of self-published works (which don't usually have the resources to polish a work as much as the traditional publishers might) and choosing to not put in the extra effort.
It's only about $$$. The art is no longer the priority.

5mins seems like an overly long time to me. It used to take 2mins 10secs to boil two cups in our very old 700W microwave. Any longer and it it'd superheat the water.

I think your review is a fair criticism.
I first read RS about 15 years ago, and I remember liking it. However, I recently picked it up for a reread, and I remembered very little. What I did remember was completely different, so it was like reading a completely new book. It wasn't until the end that my memory and the book gelled. I've never had that happen before (or since), not even with the sequels.

yeah. It held the key historical events for my secondary world, so absolutely vital. The master copy is now held elsewhere, but for more than a decade I was using sheets. I tried moving it earlier, but my formulas didn't transfer cleanly and I couldn't be bothered fixing them. All good now.
