Indeed. I devoted 5 months intensely to nostr almost 2 years ago and still found my feed to be at best meh and at worst …awful. I open it once every couple of months now and generally no change. I had real hope it would outgrow crypto culture but that doesn’t appear to be happening.

It seems to come in waves. I think something happens to increase visibility (conference, major article etc) which sparks a wave of signups and following activity which then subsides after a week or so. In the 4ish months I’ve been on I’ve seen this several times.
Most new users don’t seem to stay. I’m curious if there are stats on this.

Absolutely. For me the benefits began immediately, but at about the 2 year mark I basically rebuilt myself. Boundaries in particular, identity etc. found lots of things that were simply not worth putting up with sober. It’s a rich journey, deep bows sir.

In Hong Kong I always put my laundry in a closed room with a dehumidifier on the laundry setting. Worked great and was the typical way there.
Malaysia is the only place hotter and more humid! Great for tea storage, but tough for laundry. 🤣
