True, but Windows is both a bigger and (at least up until Windows 7) easier target. Windows 7 began the difficult task of separating the user and adminsitrative accounts on Windows. Something that even now doesn't seem to be fully complete.

Well, Christianity is either true or it isn't (our understanding of that truth is a different matter entirely). So isn't putting the metaphysics on hold de facto presuming it isn't?

I can understand the reactions. Pepsi versus Coke is like Microsoft versus Linux or vi versus emacs. People identify with one of the brands. Changing your supplier from one to the other alienates a lot of people.
I understand the discounts both companies offer, but from a customer viewpoint it's still best to offer both.
Personally for me Pepsi simply tastes better than Coke. I'll only drink Coke in an emergency.

Unfaithful and leaving a pregnant wife?
There's no saving this marriage and the man isn't worth her time. And yes, in a more civilized age her male relatives would meet him a dawn with pistols and the harlot he's seeing would be driven out of town.
But that's not the world we live in. Tell her to get a good lawyer and take him for every dime he has and ever will. See how long his new lover appreciates him with no money.

Compare them to the competition like Allen Brothers, Porter Road, or Holy Grail. They're all through the roof.
If you want lower prices you have to drop down a level to Kansas City or Wild Fork, both of which have good reputations. If you want grocery store quality delivered you get Omaha Steaks.
Wild Fork has prime ribeye for $20.48/lb, which beats what I can get at Kroger. https://wildforkfoods.com/products/usda-prime-ribeye/

Raising prices to build up reserves to combat expected future costs isn't an unwise move. Lots of companies have failed to do so and have gone under when the additional costs hit.

I think Torba may have just signed the death certificate for Gab:
"We are rolling out a new update that will prevent non-pro users from accessing content that is more than 2 months old and logged out users no more than one week old. PRO users will still be able to access all historical content. We are doing this to combat bot scraping from our enemies and from various AI services that are stealing this data to train on without our permission. This scraping impacts site performance and weighs on our already limited server infrastructure. We will see how this goes and adjust things accordingly.
The vast majority of users will notice no difference to their experience as most people only care about content being posted within the last week or so. We really need to continue expanding our infrastructure and can only do that with support from people like you. Please consider making a donation to help Gab cover the costs of our existing infrastructure and so we can continue to expand it:"

As long as tradition does not contradict scripture there's no reason not to follow it. The Bible does not contain all of Christ's teachings, as John clearly states:
"And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."

You misunderstand the nature of the ceremonies. They're not just for the individuals involved. They're for the whole of the church to recognize and celebrate or mourn the event.

Nope, nope, nope.
You absolutely *have* to have standardized marriage and funeral services.
It's also a very good idea to have a standardized service for welcoming newcomers and children who have grown into the church, but I'll grant that's not absolutely necessary.
Given your structure above, I'll agree that ordination and confession aren't actually required.

One thing I continually come back to that the 1928 Anglican Book of Common Prayer absolutely gets right is that the Church is the "very members incorporate in the mystical body of thy Son, which is the blessed company of all faithful people".

> Why do you think the Catholic churches lampshades weren't removed for gross and ongoing sin?
Well, this is pure guesswork. I cannot know the mind of God.
But my guess would be that while the leadership was corrupt the local parishes were still performing the duties Christ wanted: Performing the sacraments and teaching the Gospel.
I don't think that's the case now. I think the majority of all the clergy in all the mainstream denominations have been corrupted and no longer teach the true Gospel. If you can find one who isn't that's great, but recognize that he's either going to be in a small denomination outside the mainstream or he's fighting an almost certainly losing battle against his own superiors.
