Most homes probably have an old digital camera in it for documenting bad behaviour.
If you want the ability to communicate and do photos / video, then I’d strenuously recommend a burner phone - ask family or friends for an old functional phone, pop a PAYG SIM into it, and memorize one or two phone numbers to use in an emergency.

And a word to guys who are worried about the procedure: It's no worse then a dental cleaning, and you have an excuse to sit on the couch all weekend with a bag of frozen peas on your junk.
For the 'no scalpel' procedure, you're healed up in about a week. And after two post-vasectomy sperm tests with no swimmers, you're good to go.
I was extra paranoid, so I also had post-vasectomy sperm tests every year for 5 years after, and it's been 25 years now.

I also saw this in Iceland. A family of four walking on a lava field, with signs in half a dozen languages that explicitly said to NOT walk on the lava field.

A friend asked Google which planes the Canadian Snowbirds flew, and Gemini said "C-130 Hercules".
C-130s are some of the largest cargo planes in the world, and definitely NOT what you want to try and do low-level acrobatic manoeuvres in.
When I told the friend it was incorrect, I got some sass about being a know-it-all, but when they checked a website from the government, I was redeemed. :)

I never wanted kids, mostly because I had an uncle and great uncle who never had kids, and they had cool lives. I took measures to make that decision permanent, and I’ve lived a very good life.
My parents confided in me years later that they were both relieved that I didn’t have kids for them to worry about.
The only thing I can do is try to help my friend’s children that are affected by what is coming.

Here’s a proposal: We still don’t have a plan for dealing with highly radioactive / toxic and long lived fission byproducts. Leave that shit in the ground.
Solar, Wind, and Hydro have their issues, but getting cancer from a few minutes standing beside them isn’t one of those issues.
Energy efficiency projects and expanding rooftop solar with on-site storage and local wind parks are all better options.

Yup, today I did a search for something, and an #LLM summary / result combined an article I wrote with another, completely unrelated article, and provided a bullshit response that appeared factual.
Admittedly, it did give my site credit alongside the other article, but NOW, the problem is that it’s smearing my reputation as my article is correct, but the summary is wrong — implying that I’m the one that fucked up.
