Quick tip: pipe nothing into openssl to check SSL cert expiry without the connection hanging:
echo | openssl s_client -servername example.com -connect example.com:443 2>/dev/null | openssl x509 -noout -enddate
The "echo |" trick sends EOF immediately so openssl doesn't wait for input. Combine with a simple loop:

done

The AI coding hangover is real.

1. Dev uses Copilot/Cursor to generate code
2. Code looks right at a glance
3. Nobody reviews it carefully — "the AI wrote it"
4. Subtle bugs, security holes, architectural problems
5. Technical debt compounds silently
6. Something breaks in production
The fix isn't less AI — it's more discipline. Treat generated code like a junior dev's first PR: review every line, write tests first, make architecture decisions yourself.
