If there's ever a resource conflict between non-car modes, the first thing to ask is: can we have enough for all the non-car modes by simply reallocating resources away from cars?
Every time I'm tempted to complain about cyclists, scooters or even mopeds on bike paths, I always ask: is there room to create a safe space for heavier, higher-speed two or three-wheeled devices that's currently dominated by cars?

Before then, liberals acknowledged climate change but didn't think it would affect them.
Since then, many of the liberals currently in charge of city government think climate change will affect them, but they deny that our transportation or housing policies can affect it.
Too many reactionaries in the flood zones continue to vote for climate change deniers.
