Sooo I now have a Gentoo install for powerpc64 (big-endian) with LLVM + musl + systemd. It works fine, but systemd segfaults if built in release profile. Time to investigate, I guess.

@nprofile…293t your take regarding OpenGL ES 2.0 is weird, that's a standard from 2007, now 18 years old. It's definitely not anything from "relatively new hardware". Qualcomm Adreno and ARM Mali GPUs have supported OpenGL ES 3.0 since 2013, if anything "relatively new" doesn't support it, the hardware simply isn't "relatively new", it's just dead on arrival

Initial workshop afterthoughts and notes, will write something more in depth later on the soon-to-come mainlining.org blog:
- 1 Xiaomi tablet now boots mainline quite well and can boot to system from UFS
- 1 Xiaomi phone can now boot mainline but fails early for yet unknown reasons
- 1 Samsung phone now has a uniloader port and can boot mainline but crashes early (on first try!)
- Motorola milestone is a long term project that research has been started on
