The person I was talking to at PP had them, and they said they’d met people by being able to start a convo about a similar interest through a sticker. If what my friend said is true it would be a sad time for connection via non-verbals means.

I had a chat with someone at Pixel Pioneers about laptop stickers. My pals said “laptop stickers are on their way out, it’s the done thing to remove them all for a minimalist look now”(paraphrased) and I was shook. I have always stickered my laptop, it’s an expression of our personality and communicates to others who you are when out and about.

it is very easy to forget when people say nice things, so I am *certain* you will find some if you go looking!
As developers, we should always keep a record of positive feedback for exactly that. Imposter syndrome is strong in our industry, so having a brag list is vital to keep those mean thoughts at bay.
This has given me an idea for a blog post >:)

they're always a living document!! nice one for writing it up to show your intention tho :)
To be fair also, as you provide a high contrast mode option, you may not need to worry (also a hobby site, so you're free to do anything anyway!!)
Do you have anything to detect if the user has high contrast mode enabled on their system? If not, you could detect with JS or CSS and apply those high contrast colours by default.

fyi! The latest guidelines are WCAG 2.2! It's likely if you're 2.0 compliant you'll be most of the way there for 2.0 (if not more so as the minimum button/link size was reduced from 44px to 24px from 2.1->2.2!)

From a quick mechanical report on your homepage, there are some colour contrast issues that should take a moment to resolve :) :)
