@nprofile…99je @nprofile…dn53 Seems so. But I don't know more than that. I.e. what are they angry about? what's the whole context?
I could look this up elsewhere but I want to hear about it from people that I know with their biases and spin instead of the biases and spin of a random journalist that I don't know or Wikipedia.

@npub10cq…6nm3 The difference is that users can choose what components of their system to install, so some responsibility is on them. People who cross bridges aren't gonna look up how the bridge was built so they can make an informed choice about which one to use.
So, requiring a warning to the end user if they install/select that filesystem and having it not be used by default would be better IMO.

2024-10-05 19:10:36 UTC

@npub1qh0…xeda I suppose that's true. If women think they are treated unjustly as women (maybe they still are; Idk because I'm a man) they can always "become" men.
That's not really ideal though.
For one, redefining words such that gender now refers to personality or self-identity is pretty dumb IMO. Personality because there's already a word for that and self-identity because that's self-referential and therefore pointless and stupid.
