@nprofile…f83y Nice! I have a "Deadpool" status in my Obsidian where ideas can go to die. It can feel bad to discard all that work but like you said, not all drafts need to be published and sometimes it's more about getting that mix of emotion and words out of my brain and stored somewhere else.

I've got 114 draft posts in the hopper and nearly every day I say "I should finish one!" but can't muster the dopamine. Some of that is I'm putting the bar too high for myself, but it's also something else. Even my daily deluge of tech videos is getting boring as shit. Social media... also dumb, offensive even.
Burnout, tech hype malaise... who knows. Space manga is good tho.

Random Thoughts:
- I think the case could be made that billionaires and venture capital are inflationary and need to be regulated.
- I think the incentives are off for AI. If AI companies charge per-token, the AI company has every incentive to use as many input/output tokens as possible (or that their infra can support).
- If AI makes you 10x more productive, then that's 10wks worth of work per week. On a team of 10ppl, that's 100wks (2 man-yrs) of work per week. No org is setup to handle that.

@nprofile…f83y Couldn't get the old one to post. It had a backup BIOS switch but that didn't work either. It was an 8yo board/chip, and while it's not that old, it was hard to find docs/guides/videos/drivers on the internet to flash it and restore it. I followed all the steps I could find but got nowhere.

Last week someone in my house -I’m not gonna say who to protect their identity- tried to turn off her son’s computer at bedtime and clicked the CMOS Clear button and wiped the BIOS. Anyways. Been doing computer repair and it ain’t fun. Ended up buying an entire new mobo+cpu.

Watched K-pop Demon Hunters this weekend with the family and it's really good. I've been seeing some discourse about Pixar being cooked for over-relying on the CalArts style of generic, round rubbery characters but I didn't take a side. After watching K-pop Demon Hunters... I agree?
I think what was most clear from the movie was that Sony Animation is having fun. Like The Mitchells vs The Machines and Spider-verse, you can sense the foundation of play in the craft in Sony's animated films.
