The documentation was really great for me as a beginner and enabled me to get deeper into the community for #softwarefreedom.

After several years, I finally found a #FreeSoftware workout timer for #Android which is comparable to my standalone timer I used for ages. Here the @npub1mtr…trt0 link:

It is simple, fast to configure, and fixes one of the blockers I had with other apps before: I can listen to music, and get just brief audio notification about the next interval. Over the last months I could now travel without packing a separate timer and batteries.

#BuyEuropean is not enough for Germany and Europe to break their dependence. #DigitalSovereignty is only possible with free software—also and especially in #DStack.

Yesterday was one of the greatest day in my life. Together with over 800 children and @npub16xn…g7f8 guests we had the German premiere of the movie "Ada & #Zangemann - A Tale of Software, Skateboards, and Raspberry Ice Cream". Thank you so much to all who made this possible (see the credits).

#Fediversepower : Anyone out here who has experience with converting movie files into the #DCP format? There are planned screenings of the "Ada & #Zangemann " movie in cinemas, but one requirement I read was that you need a DCP file. (I also saw https://dcpomatic.com/ but don't know anyone with experience how well that works.)

Was contacted by an old friend to check if I received an e-mail with recovery information for her e-mail account. Turned out we used my e-mail address as a recovery backup address when setting up her first e-mail account. That was *20 years* ago! 😱 Will definitely remember this for the future, when I help people setting something up.
