AirPlay started working for me, when I added raop-discover. I actively did this with `pactl load-module module-raop-discover` because I wanted to output audio to an AirPlay device. Maybe this info helps you get rid of it?

Weird find: If you hit Ctrl+Shift+M on some #GNOME apps, it will give you a mobile preview of that app. Hitting the combo again (or clicking Exit at the top) will bring you back to normal dekstop view.
Works in Calendar, Nautilus, Software, Weather, Settings, GEdit, Flatseal, Bottles and probably quite a few more.

recently I needed to give my phone number to a student.
They came back to me "your number doesn't work"
I double checked it, it was correct.
"I can't find you though?"
I am looking like a car in that moment, saying "what do you mean, you can't find me?"
They were typing my number directly into WhatsApp. It did not even occur to them that someon could just ... not use WhatsApp.

Ich sammle zur Zeit *aktuelle Berichte* zu #Wärmepumpen. Wenn ihr da etwas habt, bitte gerne zu mir. Boost wäre auch nett für größere Reichweite. The Humble Bundle "Learn to Code 2025" is basically low-quality superficial AI SLOP shit. It's so bad I'm not even going to link to it out of fear you might accidentally buy it.
The thumbnails already looked like this might be the case, but I bought it anyway. I have never before outright *regretted* buying a humble bundle, this is a first for me.
I'm thinking about getting a refund.

Beobachtung aus einer Schule:
Wenn eine Gruppe von Eltern individuell aber vollumfänglich irgendwas erledigen muss damit etwas funktioniert kannst Du es eigentlich gleich sein lassen.
Schule hat sich Gedanken über Kommunikation mit Eltern gemacht, hat einen Anbieter gefunden der das ganz ordentlich zu machen scheint. Eltern müssten jetzt Einen Link anklicken, einen Account erstellen und in einen gemeinsamen "Raum" kommen. Alles komplett erklärt und beschrieben. Alles drei in 2 Minuten zu erledigen, wenn man will. Oder in 15 Minuten wenn man nicht will und viel Erklärung/Hilfe braucht.
Dummerweise gibt's im Werkzeug noch einen etwas ungünstigen Bruch-Punkt weil man das "ich muss in einen Raum" tatsächlich übersehen kann. Aber ich kann sehen, dass mehr als die Hälfte gar nicht erst so weit kommt.
Es sind etwa ein Drittel der Eltern in der Lage, das innerhalb von ~3 Wochen zu erledigen. In dem Zeitraum war ein Elternabend, ein Elternbrief auf Papier und zwei Erinnerungs-E-Mails zum Thema.

I think you *still* need some kind of timescale attached for a one-time payment. If we don't, I say "how much for 1000 years?" and then any plan would fall apart. Even if the actual cost of running a registry is just a cent per domain per year, "forever" would mean "infinite costs".

Twice today I wante do access something where the URLs were dead. This is usually not a big deal, because the Waybackmachine is an amazing resource when that happens. More often than not it will save the day.

Open Source Community auf #Matrix. ~5 technisch *sehr* versierte Personen rätseln, warum einer plötzlich keine Nachrichten der Anderen entschlüsseln kann.
Matrix ist nicht alltagstauglich.
Wenn eine Reihe von Informatikern und Open Source Contributors deine Fehlermeldungen nicht entziffern kann, dann ist das einfach *schlecht*. Da gibt's keine sinnvolle Ausrede. Dann hast Du einfach nur einen vollumfänglichen Fail hingelegt. Dann gibt's auch einfach nix mit "naja RTFM" zu wollen. Das ist Scheiße und muss als solche benannt werden.

in Star Trek Discovery Staffel 2 gibt es so eine Episode. Und in Babylon 5 Ende Staffel 4 oder Anfang Staffel 5 auch. In beiden Fällen aber eher kein Terminal das bedient wird.
