i swear there is some psyop going on, not just a trend; people are actively sticking their noses into every possible place they can to try and stir up anti-pedo rhetoric. every old fandom, every possible space where something resembling a child has some presence.
it's a war right now.

shes a very competent little flower

a femboy dresses and acts feminine, but it usually isnt to the extent of trying to pass as a girl, just trying to be cute or sexy.
more often than not, a femboy actually is gay or bisexual or a boymoding transexual.
a trap might intentionally dress pretty or not, but either way they get actively mistaken for being the opposite sex; theres a lot less of a sexual connotation to it as well.
as an example, if a boy has long hair and gets mistaken for a girl even if he's wearing men's clothes, that would be a trap. if he is wearing a dress and gets mistaken for being a girl, he might be either, since the terms do overlap with no hard lines between them.
a tomboy that you dont realize is actually a girl is also a trap. if you can tell shes a tomboy, then she isnt. if you can tell a feminine boy is obviously a boy, then he's not a trap. (this also means the line blurs bc some people just plain suck at telling the difference). but thats the clearest difference between the two - if you can easily tell he's a boy despite the girly clothes or makeup or whatever, then theyre a femboy and aren't a trap.

the younger generation maps... well i think most of them came off of twitter.
tumblr was primarily used by my generation until it fucked itself over and drove its own users away. only some stubborn older folks stuck around there, and some sfw blogs, and they eventually started picking up younger new people over the years after the fact.
until the past couple years really, pedi was mostly old and older folks; the youths here were edge cases that found it faster or got invited due to personal connections. and those brats have been here long enough now theyre mostly part of the adult crowd.
talking about generations gets weird though bc pedi itself has several generational waves, and each of those has been a mixed bag of biological generations...and after 6+ years? a lot happens fast on the fediverse, and being "old" still leaves you part of a "new" generation depending on who is talking... as well as which instance theyre on. probably the best way to peg someone is finding out what instance they made their first account on (excluding pawoo or non-pedi instances)

i wouldnt say nambla types started pedi, but a good chunk of the earliest instances and general population came from tumblr, and a lot of that crowd came from the nambla generations; im not entirely certain about that though, things were chaotic back then, but the influence was definitely there.
the loli vs shota thing is a moot point really. weve got gl's and bl's and some who are both. youll see both sides if you keep watching, as long as you dont just pay attention to a tiny corner of frequent posters in one or two instances.

a lot of the older crowd that helped kick off pedi came out of the nambla/tumblr spheres, which was predominantly boylovers.
the trans demographic was the next big one to slide in, and thats been a mixed bag but i think it was/is primarily mtf, though i couldnt say if it was more heavily male-attracted or female-attracted.
the cis-male herero maps are probably the largest real-world demographic so we've just been building up alongside the other groups steadily here, but the trans community and other non-standard demographics have a louder voice in general.
pedi itself swings back and forth between seeing a lot of loli-focus and then shota-focus, which gets funny when you see someone complain about seeing too much of one thing on their feed, when it was the exact opposite a week prior.
the absence of trans-maps prior to recent years i think is largely just bc transexuality wasnt out there in society much at all prior to the trap trends that blew the lid off that pot and brought it into the mainstream consciousness/acceptance. all these demographics still exxisted, but go back a couple decades and really the only voices trying to push for acceptance and attention were the bl/gl groups, particularly the bl groups with nambla and a few other organizations.

that right there is your directory structure and the files in it; you just need two programs (which could be combined into one). the first part is the "portal" a doll logs into, which need only be able to identify the dol using it, output that identity to the other script, take back the prompt the second script provides, output that to the llm to define the personality of its responses, and then pass user prompts to the llm in the scope of that conversation with "you" and receive its answers; this should then be output back to the user, and the entire convo logged if you intend to be able to check its contents later.
the second script would be far simpler, literally just identifying a username, checking that against a dictionary (thats one of those programming terms you gotta learn) and using that to pick which text files to include in what it sends back to the portal script.
a dictionary royghly looks like this:
dict NAME OF DICTIONARY : [username1:(list_of_attributes_separated_by_commas),username2:(list_of_attributes_separated_by_commas),etc]
the attributes here would refer to specific text files you want that user profile to use, the parser script would check this dictionary to figure out which to use, then put them together as its output for the portal. its literally a dictionary that defines each user. (and should be its own unique file, not directly anpart of the parser script)

what im seeing is you attempting to turn a personal network of explicit relationships into an organized company. everything ive heard of this ninlil thing is you trying to recruit an ai to serve as middle management in a company structure that doesnt exist yet for the people in your network of dolls.
is that even necessary? do you actuallly want your dolldom to function like a company? if so, how big and how wide? (height doesnt matter bc its inevitably a pyramid structure of authority levels, separated horizontally by departments and sub-pyramids and maybe council-esque groups sharing a role or responsibility set).
is there a different sort of organizational structure that would function better?
do you want to have your personal relationships with dolls to take the shape of a company, or should that be a completely separate entity from this "company" which performs a functional purpose of some sort? do the dolls even need to be involved in it or can it just be an adjacent organization with maybe some overlap that does things you want it to do?

im jot arguing a moral failure, im criticising a technical failure. as objectively as i can, but i admit ive vented some frustrations into it and its been relatively harsh.
the "not involving" is exactly that. youre brainstorming at the moment, starting figure stuff out... and imo this convo about this one script is a "furniture" detail being wrung out before the building even has a blueprint, sontheres that issue, but in that convo you ignored and shut down ulith when she was trying to contribute as the ulith who does have the technical conprehensions and skillsets to get involved. amd since she is a doll, shes half involved by default; you burned her for that attempt to contribute. youve got tha ra fellow, and i think remy has some comprehension too... your first step before throwing these ideas public for outsider input like mine, should have been an internall dolldom conversation about what you want and how to do it and what parts are needed to make the machine run.
the heirarchy and personal relationships within your dolldom are definitely interfering with your ability to hold a professional discussion about this stuff. consider establishing some sort of space or method for having such discussions internally while setting aside the normal doll roles and influences. youre trying to build a community right? get them invested in the shape it takes.
as for "sides", im operating solely on the context of todays discussion, and observation of some of your interactions with ulith specifically. im not taking sides or getting fed info anywhere on the side. what i see is a snapshot of what you show all of us publicly. i dont see everything thats public, and ive zero knowledge of anything private within the dolldom.

youre an entrepreneur building a company out of an empty lot. you have some employees already, some of which can be involved in helping you lay the bricks. but they cant help with that if you choose not to involve them, or fail to communicate the general blueprint for its layout.
todays discussion has been (all of us standing in the street bickering) about a piece of furniture (youre planning to install) in one room, but you havent even made the room yet or put the room on the blueprint. and ive been criticising the fact you cant even draw or read a blueprint. which would be a less significant issue if you had someone competent in the role of the contracted engineer who makes these blueprints professionally, but right now its just you on the actual roster, which makes you responsible for everything, including the necessary features and building codes and plumbing that youre ignorant about.
so you gotta figure out the basics first, and then start to delegate your contractors to do what needs to be done to build the building and set up the infrastructure. or let someone else design and set it up themselves (not really feasible without your constant input if you want it to turn out the way you want it, and then youd be nagging amd nitpicking results and processes you dont understand which will just consistently repeat the issues here of your lack of comprehension stalling actual progress and communication).

okay but, as a human in the real world, im sure youve experienced (or can imagine thw situation) at some point the absolutely insane irritation of having an incompetent-due-to-ignorance boss talk incomprehensible nonsense to you because he wants you to do a task but cant even tell you what that task is.
setting aside the aggravation and strife, theres a certain low bar of competency and education to enable clear enough communication to facilitate the employee actually being able to unravel what the boss wants done.

to anybody familiar with basic scripting and the use of/syntax/etc of interacting with the llm youre using? yeah.
the most obnoxious part of this is setting up the "class" parameters to define the shape and contents of any modules you make (the layout and framework for these mod files), and ensuring the parser parses it correctly, with enough flexibility there to add new stuff or change things later when you inevitably discover something isnt working as intended or could be better and more convenient.

correct (about the can of worms). youre not making a compiler, youre making a program script that
1 parses x files in y directory
2 presents specific contents of those files as options awaiting user input parameters (likely just a y/n to each)
3 concatenates (combines) the chosen relevant choices
4 outputs the result to a text file (if you plan to reuse that specific set of selections in the future as a "profile" or "suite" for a specific scenario you will be repeating
OR
4 outputs the result directly as text as the input prompt to the active llm (requires slightly more scripting, easier activation, but fucking annoying if you do plan to reuse the same sets of modules repeatedly).
thats it.

load the relevant models into your modules that youve chained together, output a thing, use that as parameters to launch the instance.
hell, youre overcomplicating it. just need a launcher that lets you check off items from a list made out of what it parses from the relevant folder(s), launch the ai with those parameters in effect. those "modules" text files would be programs that the ai runs when you tell it to via that launcher.

so you need
1 a small application that scans x files in y folder to inherit its config variables (modules is not the right term here though it makes sense outside of programming context). those "modules" should all just be dictionaries containing whatever relevant variables, and functions you want to show up in your config application.
2 your compiler thing then takes whatever options and decisions you made in the config app to generate the instance of whatever it is youre making.

half bc an asshole ex-admin has a backup he promised to delete (twice) that compromises all user data prior to a certain date, which is being used as blackmail bc he's butthurt he got booted from admining and wants every other admin who didnt like him to be fired.
half bc atf's actual owner is tired and atf has grown too big and its about to reach maximum capacity and costs a ton to maintain and theres really no system worked out to keep it going without him.
so the plug is being pulled and people are scrambling to archive what they can in the time we have left (theres no definitive date yet).
the owner also warned that any "new" atf's going up will be entirely untrustworthy and compromised bc the only backup capable of doing that is this one that is currently being used for the blackmail doxxing.
atf is in the grave, we just havent thrown the dirt on top yet. its already struggling with server loads.
ive been debating throwing up a forum post inviting people to pedi in general but... its not really my place to be inviting people to other instances, and mine isnt going to be takin on swarms of refugees. plus its a very different community vibe and doesnt really fill the void for what we're losing... and i was never really active on the forums there anyway so im a total nobody despite the very old account.

there wont BE search engines, not even ones that pretend to be like google is now. there will just be a curated list of advertisement to sites they want you to visit, designed around particular demographics so they can lock you into echo chambers.
itll be like the old days when you had to follow links to discover new sites, except moderation bots will scrub those and replace them with even more curated advertisements.

subway was the only one that kept me logged into multiple accounts with stable tabs for shit. the others ive had to jump hoops logging in and out and swapping accounts/instances.
its been ages since i really used the others, used to main husky, but there were problems with media loading there too and one of them (i think husky) apparently had instance censorship hardcoded into the app by the creator
afaik there are zero good options besides being on a decent browser on a regular computer. and im logged into nearly everything still on subway so its best to just not rock the boat until i start prepping to make a suite of new accounts everywhere
