So now a freshly trimmed and bathed dog has to have a bath again, he ran onto the carpet so there is pee all over the carpet, the couch cushions have to be stripped and washed (luckily it didn’t soak into the foam because of padding on the cover).
I step on Biskit’s tail while doing that and he lets out the biggest scream, and now he is looking extremely depressed because he is being the best dog he can be but everything just keeps happening to him.

Took dogs in for grooming. Picked them back up. Flurry is extremely anxious and has nervous energy so he won’t stop relentlessly humping Biskit. Biskit is very mild mannered so he doesn’t ever snap, so Flurry keeps doing it. For some reason this nervous energy fest ends up with him peeing all over Biskit AND the couch.
(Yes friends it was pee, I could tell)

Yeah I have never used my Switch 2 in handheld except to set it up while it was laid flat on a desk, and it has very light scratches on the screen. I’m… extremely confused.

I love the Switch 2 but gosh dang it is a piece of hardware that gets scratched if so much as a piece of dust vaguely floats in its direction. The first Switch was the same.
And don’t even get me started with the matte coating, no one who has long nails has ever tested that thing.

I kinda do get being upset. I get a bit sad when an authentic creator hits it big and becomes completely out of touch with their audience due to the financial freedom they now enjoy. But also, I get that it's hard to pretend you still like creating one kind of content when that’s not you anymore.
I still don't like it when people attach moral concepts to that, though. It's a business transaction at its core.

I... don't think so? Why would it be any different than being upset that your favorite show changed directions? The problem would be if you decided to harass the creator about it, but being upset and hitting unfollow is... yeah, that happens?

Noooo of course please ask everything that’s on your mind! Yes, unfortunately it is digital download only because it only got a physical release in Japan.
If you buy the digital deluxe edition, you just get a few cosmetics extra, so you can skip it. I only got it since I was a big fan of the first game and I knew I was going to get this and love this.

There is local and online multiplayer yes! But it is absolutely not necessary to advance at any point. It’s more meant to be a fun bonus. My entire friends group was influenced into playing but so far we haven’t managed to multiplayer at all and everybody’s happily progressing at their own pace, and we have never felt like we missed anything. The companions you can recruit are more than enough help for any of the content.

OMG, VID. Saoirse is so right. It is only the greatest game ever.
It’s a cozy, cute little JRPG, very crafting focused. It was amazing in its first iteration, but for the second game which just came out for PC and a bunch of consoles, they basically decided to put Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley into the game. There is a story and combat, but it’s not challenging at all. The meat of the game is levelling your crafting skills, decorating your base, making friends etc.

Hey Fedi friends, I need the hive mind.
I… have to make a ton of flashcards. Like. A couple thousand. I enjoy making them by hand but the storage problems that many cards will generate rule that out.
So… app recs? Ideally buy once yours forever, subscription okay. I just need to be able to make the flashcards, group them as I like, and then test myself on them. And sync ideally. What does everyone use?

He is looking for a career change and he wants to go into development, but he’s not really interested in web development. I suggested he could learn Python for some basics and then see if he can figure out what other languages and fields he likes using what he learned about programming.
He liked the idea, but he knows absolutely nothing about computer science. He can operate a computer and that’s it.

I think they’re slightly smaller. I use a Leuchtturm 1917 bullet journal.
Maybe the thinner ones on either side of the thick blue are better for bullet journalling? Or since I want to get two different pens anyway should I order one in medium size and one in thin? Or is that totally not how it works? I know nothing about this so this is really helping, thank you so much. 💗

I prefer gel ones and rollerballs, the grey Pilot ones? What I am looking for is indeed one where I don’t have to press hard, because when I write for a little my hand really hurts from the pressure. So I wanted to get a fountain pen that will relieve that tension.

They really are super great because they last like lipstick but are really shiny and balmlike in texture. And since they’re cheap, I don’t mind using them as a lip balm to feel nice about myself even if I’m around the house.
YesStyle often runs sales and has free shipping at a low threshold so you never have to pay full price, but it’s one of those websites where you have to order and forget, and it will arrive when it arrives. It is legitimate and has genuine products though.

I’ve had many friends who say they struggle with this and I do too, due to neurodivergence.
Hilarious and sad as this sounds, it has helped me to make a list of fun stuff I want to do, then rolling the dice and sticking with the activity for a set amount of time. I tell myself if after that I’m not having fun, I’ll pick something else off the list. I almost always end up doing what I chose. At the end of the day I feel better for having done a variety of things.

I feel really stupid right now that it happened again. I count even my vitamins and keep them boxed up. If we ever have a pill take a tumble and go missing under the couch or anything, we don’t give up until we find whatever it was.
And if my dog ate my medication or weed I would just call the vet and tell them what he ate! It’s not more important than my dog’s life! Fuck.

The backstory here is that he’s gotten high before on multiple drugs and had to have an emergency overnight stay. But we have no drugs in the house.
He eats whatever he finds on the street (he had to be muzzled at some point) and there was something he and a golden retriever got into last night, but we don’t know what it is because it was dark. Might have been someone’s space cake leftovers.

Dog the Younger had some sort of attack last night. We found him laying in a puddle of drool, panting, and extremely confused. He still appears confused and can’t settle down.
Taking him to the vet shortly. Emergency line last night said it sounds like an epileptic seizure, and to keep observing. Our vet on the phone, as well as a vet in my family, said it could be poisoning too and that he needs blood tests and scans.
Scared.

You guys. It’s bullshit how much easier the Zora dungeon is compared to the desert.
Going into the desert makes you want to scream but this was an under an hour dungeon even with max exploration 😭

The second favorite snack I grabbed from Germany is… well, do you remember those instant puddings you just had to add milk to and boil and cool and your mom made it as a treat sometimes? Not sure if the Americans have them but the Europeans and Turkish sure had it as a thing.
Aaand I found them in single person sized servings, to be made and served in a coffee mug, just add water.
Tried the chocolate and vanilla flavors so far, both great! Still have salted caramel and almond.

Went to Germany over the weekend to grocery shop, and discovered new treats, as you do.

Yup I went there first too! I just finished the zone and I mean I did my best to find all the echoes and items, so I spent a lot of time there. But I still don’t feel like I progressed where combat is concerned.
(Also some of the enemies there just really suck at the point you encounter them.)

I’m now two dungeons into Echoes of Wisdom.
I still think combat is tedious. I’m the kind of person who likes to clear an area out so I can explore in peace and check every nook and cranny. The fact that doing that can take ages annoys me.
However, the cuteness factor is still keeping me playing. Yall the cats and dogs meow and bark back at you if you talk to them :blobmeltsoblove:

For me Google does better when I want to find out where something can be purchased locally, price comparisons, where to dine for specific cuisines, etc. General search is DDG all the way, but DDG for me is really bad at all of the above.
