Now that backpacking season is over, I’m thinking about giving overlanding a try. I just don’t want to be in a tent in the cold and rain.
Plan is to start with my backpacking gear and go from there. Have a 2013 Honda Pilot. I can use it as a base camp for long day hikes.
Main concern is being stuck in the middle of the forest with a dead battery. Ordered a NOCO Boost Plus battery jump starter. Will get a couple storage bins to hold gear staying in the SUV.
Reasonable?
