This line at the top of a story about emergency wildfire evacuations stopped me in my tracks. I’ve never seen this before. A jolt, as I realised why it’s necessary for local readers.
Now I’m wondering: was it only a jolt now, this first time? Soon, will I not even notice, because it will be standard to see this, because disaster-prepped climate news stories will just be normal?
