For my upcoming new #podcasting tool, I'm trying to build the authentication and billing natively in it (instead of using WordPress + MemberPress), but it's expensive!
Clerk does subscriptions for Stripe fees + 0.7% (no Stripe Billing fees), but not one-time payments.
Kinde does only monthly subscriptions.
Better-Auth's Stripe plugin does only subscriptions.
