Right now those fluctuations in avg daily block size are naturally reoccurring, regardless of the state of affairs - look at the dates on that chart.

BIP110, the contents value can be debated - but one thing can't be debated:

The tactics used to try & push this through we're not akin to how Bitcoiners have gone about things since inception.

This one was different, it used political tactics against Bitcoin Core instead of intellectual frameworks.

That worries me more than anything, and you shouldn't be part of that resolution.

Getting your way at all costs makes sense in an emergency, but this isn't an emergency, that's what makes this fiasco reek of misinformation, misjudgements, or flat out stupidity, or worse.
