The trail got rough and brushy as I descended down and it didn’t seem like a good idea to continue. Plus, I would have missed the bear if I hadn’t turned around. I was having a very hard time with direction up there. I kept thinking north was south. Supposedly staffed but no one in there when I visited. Maybe I need to camp at Canyon lake next time to face my fears! 😂
