The "you are holding it wrong" hand wavy dismissal of these problems makes us worse, not better, IMHO. And of course, when people want/have to leave a centralised social network, their natural impulse is to look for a similar, centralised alternative. Hence Threads and BlkueSky "win". People come to the Fed verse too in such moments. But not many stay active here. And the reasons why are not something "we" in the fediverse really want to discuss, IMHO. 2/2
