Christianity as it is practiced nowadays is a very toxic religion.

When you expect a savior to redeem you at the end of the day just because you are baptized or go to church, there is no point in being a good person.

It is a little bit like if you were going to school all year and thinking that because you attend you will pass the next grade at the end of the year.

This is not how life works, to be a good student you have to study and do your work. To be a good person you have to do good deeds and stop doing bad ones.

And to make a good compost you have to work on that pile.
