I'm sure plenty of people will disagree with my asterisk, and they think genAI should be completely purged, and will disapprove of anyone who uses it in any capacity at all. I don't agree, but I will say I respect their opinions more now than I did 3 hours ago, and I respected them a fair bit to start with. and whether or not they go too far, they need to win these debates long enough to knock bloodless torment-nexus shepherds like Sam Altman and Elon Musk decisively off their current path.
