I've been freeloading off GitLab too long. Tried self-hosting their open version of their software so I could pull my repos in-house but I didn't have the patience to sort out undocumented broken containers. This is the motivation I need to migrate everything to Codeberg and send them an ongoing donation to cover costs.
GitLab worked well for me but my usage level never justified a paid account. Sad to see them spiral down the AI drain but it's been coming for a while.
