I'm happy to have recommendations for films that got a thumbs up as well as all-time favourites. I did not realize there was a sequel to Rivers and Tides and I am very interested to know that!
I loved R+T a lot-- pretty sure I watched it because it was my friend Caila's staff pick at the local video rental place. I miss having an art weirdo on staff in the neighbourhood to recommend movies
