oof, how annoying :(
fwiw, i've had a ton of success with ironing wrinkled/damp pages over the years. set my iron on medium with no steam, and place a sheet of paper over top of the wrinkled one and iron away. it usually takes a few passes, but i get about 99% success with it.
of course, it's super time consuming :\
