As I understand it, for any site with user generated content like 4chan, they have a huge number of hoops to jump through, including hiring a third party for $$$ lots of pounds all in the Orwellian name of "safety."
A zillion innocuous forums on mundane topics like bicycling have also geoblocked or if based in the U.K. just shut down, and X is already blocking for the U.K. Xweets covering the current anti-illegal immigrant protests going on in one or more legacy population towns:
