You are right, IPv6 offers a wider range of IP addresses during setup. That said, IPv4 works the same, and gets the point across how to use NetworkManager with Rocky.
As an open source community, our documentation is written and curated by contributors who volunteer their time. We would love to have this document amended with more up to date information, if someone with the knowledge, expertise, and time wished to do that.
