I am an ignorant person, but it kind of feels like OpenAI wants to shed its attempt at being a responsible company because it chaffed with their growing business. This alleged attempt at reigning the company in has led to backlash they may well neuter those attempts in the future. Or maybe it's just the facade that dropped?
