We're on track crucially to hit 2C of warming by the early 2030s, so I think social care will increasingly be an afterthought from this point onwards, with it eventually being phased out completely.
Also, given yesterday's massive win for Reform in the local elections, there's no doubt in my mind that we'll have a Reform government at the next general election, and Farage has said he's going to take an axe to welfare, so the writing's on the wall, unfortunately.
